The shotgun seen in Resident Evil: Code Veronica X is a standard shotgun and similar to its counter parts in the earlier Resident Evil games. The gun has the ability to one hit kill standard zombies through head shots from a close range though as the enemies are further from the player the shotgun will do less damage. It is useful for taking out parties of zombies which are getting a little close for the players liking as it can do multiple head shots to the enemies.
