Normal is a difficulty throughout the Resident Evil: Outbreak series which would be seen as the standard of normal. The normal difficulty which players should start on to get the hang of the game. In Resident Evil: Outbreak and Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2 this degree of difficulty is the standard for players. It doesn't throw ammo and healing items at the player like easy does but it doesn't have the scarceness of the higher difficulties. This level is a good level for players to start on. Likewise to other difficulties this level will have some special items and most of the items which are seen on easy. Though not all of them.
