Nemesis was seen in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis as a somewhat stalking character who followed Jill Valentine around. He is the primary antagonist. He is also seen in the Resident Evil: Apocalypse movie and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles where he is similar to his normal self. He is armed with the classic rocket launcher which is somewhat his trademark.

During Resident Evil 3, the player may collect various rare items from nemesis' body after killing him. These range from Handgun parts to First Aid Sprays.
