Hard is one of the playable difficulties in the Resident Evil: Outbreak series. Playable in Resident Evil: Outbreak and Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2 this difficulties tests the playing ability of the player. Through this difficulty they must learn to work as a team with their Ai players and have the ability to work together well otherwise they will all face a quick fated death. This difficulty doesn't give the player as much items and ammo so they must work wisely with what they are given and divide it throughout the players to keep safe and living. Likewise to other difficulties there are items and plot holes which are only seen on this difficulty and aren't faced on others. Some special items can only be obtained on this level of difficulty.
