Easy is one of the selectable difficulties throughout the Outbreak series'. In Resident Evil: Outbreak and Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2 these difficulties are playable and make the game much easier for the player. They allow the player a lot of healing items and give them a stack of ammo so they are feeling secure at all times. There are plot holes and items on easy which can't be obtained as they are only available on the harder difficulties. Though there are some special items which can only be obtained on easy by the player.
