Colmillos Dogs

Background

Colmillos are dogs that were infected with Las Plagas, with the parasite visibly growing from its back. Their most common attack is using their plagas-formed tentacles to whip Leon. If the parasite is not revealed, however, the dogs will leap onto you and, if not shaken off quickly, tear at Leon's throat.

How to fight

The shotgun is the best weapon to use on these enemies. One shot will often kill one, but if not it will knock them away from Leon. If the plaga is exposed, shooting it will deal extra damage.
