1. The Village - Resident Evil

1. The Village

The village is the first level available when you start off your missions for the Mercenaries. By default, you will have to get a 4 star rating [40,000 points] before you can move onto the next character [which is Hunk].

The Level
The Village level itself is a sectioned off version of the village at the beginning of the game. It is the section where we encounter Dr. Salvador for the very first time. The only difference is that it is now populated with a constant flow of enemies, a number of time pick-ups and a newly accesible barn at the entrance to the village.

The Boss
The bosses in the Village are none other than the Bella Sisters. These chainsaw weilding maniacal sisters are back and more blood thirsty than ever.

The Strategies
Your best bet in the village is to first go and collect every powerup you can find before you kill any enemies. Once you have all these collected, there should be quite a substantial group of Ganados on your tail. It's now that you lead them to the newly accesible barn at the front of the village, climb the ladder and kick it down. Keep the ladder down by shooting any enemy that tries to re-establish it, and once the barn begins to fill up with ganados, you take the 30 second bonus timer from the chest behind you and blow up the red barrel just under you, at the doorway. Once you've done that, you jump down and get outside and start slaying enemies until your timer runs out. If you manage to take out a pair of Bella Sisters whilst your bonus timer is still on the fly, you'll get quite a big lump sum of points. Do not forget abotu the other 30 second bonus timer in the house on the west side of the village. [assuming the Church door is the north end of the map]
This generalised strategy will easily be adapted to each of the 5 characters different attributes, as you'll see when we get the specialised strategies out.

Leon
For the Bella's, there isn't much of a specialised strategy for Leon. Aim for heir head with the shotgun, and use grenades when you can. For optimised killing, try to group them with a few ganados as you're using grenades, and if possible, kill them when you have a 30 second combo bonus.

Ada
Ada has her sniper rifle for long range devestation if your'e cagey about getting up close to a pair of chainsaw weilding maniacs. She also has grenades, both incendiary and frag as apposed to Leon's lone frags.

Hunk
Hunk has it easy when it comes to the Bella Sisters. Shoot them in the face with the TMP, and you instantly get the option to snap their necks. It's easy when you're a trained special ops agent.

Krauser
There's a few ways to deal with the Bella's using Krauser. The first and most obvious is his bow. It's extremely powerful and a few shots to the head each should dispatch the sisters in no time.
The second is is his special attack. Once Krauser's arm is glowing you can use it with L1 [PS2] or X [GC]. just aim and let loose with this devestating attack that kills anything in your path.
Grenades are your final option. Catch the sisters in a group of Ganados and lob a grenade for a massive points bonus if you take them down along with a few other villagers.

Wesker
The Two sisters are pretty slow so you should have plenty of time to escape from them while you look for a certain area. This area is a large garage with a light blue door, near the main entrance of the village. Get inside and climb up the ladder and wait for the sisters to walk in. Once they are try aim for the barrels there and shoot them and toss in a possible Hand Grenade. Beware though as you may need about 30 seconds of time which is valuable and this may take some of your life.
