ENEMIES

Common Enemies with elimination tips and statistics.

Ordered By:
Collimos Dogs (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Collimos Dogs
Description: Normal wolves that have been injected with the Las Plagas parasite, turning them into evil, flesh eating monsters. Their most common attack is using their plagas-formed tentacles to whip Leon. If the parasite is not revealed, however, the dogs will leap onto you and attempt to chew on your face. Location:The Village,Salazar Castle

Del Lagos (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Del Lagos
This is one of the bosses in Resident Evil 4. You will meet it while Leon tries to cross a lake on a wooden boat. The only way to kill it is to steer the boat until it's straight in front of you and throw harpoon arrows at it. When it comes too close make sure to steer away or you will take damage.

Dr. Salvador (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Dr. Salvador
Description: Possibly one of the most mysterious enemies in all of Resident Evil,Dr. Salvador never shows his face and keeps a burlap sack over his head during any encounter with Leon. Different from most of the other Los Ganados,Salvador can actually use strategy and a very powerful chainsaw. Location: Village,Saddler's Island NOTE: If he gets you with that saw, its game over, instantly. All his attacks are a one hit kill, and you'll lose your head. Literally. Salvador is also extremely tough. Multiple headshots with a rifle, shotgun, or other powerful weapon are reccomended to take him down.

El Garradors (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
El Garradors
Claw-wielding blind warriors that have been infected with the Las Plagas parasite and are now under it's control. It's only weaknesses are it's inability to see, (due to someone having ripped out its eyes and sewn up the sockets, for some strange reason...) and it's open parasite on it's back. One way to trick these beasts is to either throw a grenade or shoot a bell at one side of the room in hopes of distracting him, thus leaving his back open. Alternatively, fire a weapon, or run. And then get out of the way before they come running at you. If you walk, they wont usually detect you. But if you run, you're screwed. If they're already running at you, ready to take a swipe, you may as well leg it. You just might survive. The best way to deal with these guys is to make them charge into a wall. Their claw will get stuck, giving you plenty of time to blast them in the parasite on their back. You can only kill them in that way, so far as I know, unless you use the secret weapons such as the Handcannon. I never tried the rocket launcher, but that would be an insane waste, anyway.

El Gigante (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
El Gigante
Description: El Gigante is a by-product created through the experimental research into the Las Plagas by the Los Illuminados cult. Once human, this lumbering beast will stop at nothing to crush you. Location: Chapters 2-1 (The Quarry), 2-3 (Right Path), 4-2 (The Furnace Room) See bosses section for Tips and Techniques.

Los Ganados (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Los Ganados
Description: The Los Ganados (The Cattle) are a mystery to Leon when he first discovers them, but he soon finds out that they have been taken over by the deadly Las Plagas parasite. Their mission is to recover Ashley Graham and dispose of the intruders. Leon soon finds out what they want with Ashley, and discovers that if he doesn't soon leave the island, he will become one of them. Location: Starting Village, Saddler's Island (soldier ganados).

Los Illuminados (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Los Illuminados
Though the origin of their "cult" is unknown, Leon discovers that they are following orders of their leader,Osmund Saddler. They, like Leon, have been injected with the parasitic Las Plagas virus, and their minds have been taken over from the parasite. Location:They can be seen in various locations throughout the game, more so at the Salazar Castle.

Novistadors (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Novistadors
Description: With the ability to cloak themselves leaving only a cloud of breath to be seen, these enemies are far from easy. Novistadors appear in two forms, one is an invisible and flightless insect and the other as an agile flying insect - Either way not so easy to shoot! Location: Novistadors appear in the castle stages. They appear in their invisible form in Chapter 3-2 and in their flying form in Chapters 4-1 and 4-2. Novistadors can be easy to kill and very rewarding; dropping a eye almost every time you make a kill. In their invisible form Novistadors can be very difficult to handle, they are very strong and are very resilient to attack, they can be taken care of with weapons such as the Rifles (preferably with the infared scope equipped). In their flying form Novistadors can be very easy to deal with, taking only a shotgun shell or two, if you are looking to prosper from the kills you make you will have to work for it however, as shooting them in the air is sometimes an instant kill.

Regenerator / Iron Maiden (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Regenerator / Iron Maiden
Description: Strange humanoid creatures capable of regenerating lost body parts, thus making them incredbily difficult to defeat. They have several Las Plagas attached to their body, and the only way to defeat them is to eliminate the parasites first. If possible, use a rifle with thermal scope. If not, random shooting will eventually kill them all. Location: Found only at Saddler's Island Note: Iron maidens are tougher, have an extra parasite, and also can send out a long ranged spike attack. And trust me on this one. Do NOT blow their legs off, or you will regret it.
